Job Description

The Position

The Paryoll Specialist need to deliver Payroll and Benefit operation services mainly for Thailand markets. He/She will play a key role in the process and implement as well as continuously enhancement.

Responsibilities

• Collect payroll data and complete payroll input.

• Validate payroll report, social insurance report, tax report and GL report etc. from payroll vendor to ensure all payroll related data proceeded accurately.

• Monitor payroll procedure to ensure payroll cycle processing timely and accurately.

• Prepare monthly accrual report and other report per request from finance or other team.

• Statutory/Company Benefit administration, including commercial insurance and flexi benefit employee enrollment/leaving, data processing, vesting, payment and program initiation etc.

• Prepare and deliver the statutory reporting to related government bodies.

• Ensure full compliance for the payroll/benefit process.

•  Vendor management for both payroll & Benefit vendors. Support on benefit vendor contract renew process and payment.

•  Payroll/benefit system related job including system implementation / testing / communication.

• Payroll/benefit related process improvement and documentation.

• Annual payroll and benefit activities, including year end activities.

• Resolve related quires from different parties.

• Other payroll and benefit related activities and projects.

• Support annual project such as annual salary survey,annual merit increase etc.

• Support Audit

• Other tasks assigned by Associate Director, Payroll APAC

Required Education, Experience, and Skills

  • Several years of experience running Thailand Payroll process from end to end. Further Payroll experience in any other APAC country of advantage.

  • Profound understanding of Payroll components and in performing Payroll, optimally within a multinational environment

  • Understand proper taxation of employer payments and other additional benefits.

  • Understanding of benefits systems

  • Pro-active communication skills

  • Good knowledge of relevant software (MS-Office) with working knowledge in Excel and Word

  • Highly organized and able to prioritize workload and manage deadlines with attention to detail.

  • Ability to work in a multilateral / multinational environment.

  • Experience and reliability in dealing with confidential data.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and function effectively as a team member.

  • Driven to meet Payroll metrics and team objectives.

  • Degree in Human Resources management, Psychology or other relevant area or vocational training and relevant experience.

  • Very good oral and written communication skills in English.

  • Any other language for APAC countries will be plus.

  • 2-5 years of experience in Human Resources or Payroll, optimally in a similar role.
