Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. The Accountant will play a crucial role in managing and ensuring the accuracy of our Prepaids, PO Accruals, Intercompany Transaction accounting , contributing to financial reporting. The Senior Accountant uses experienced professional accountant knowledge to resolve diverse accounting matters. Performs monthly accounting close activities focused on more risky and complicated countries.
Responsibilities
Prepares and posts journal entries in Prepaids, PO Accruals, Intercompany areas.
Review entries posted by team members to ensure transactions are correctly classified and coded.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate reclasses or accrual requests
Prepare and Review Global Balance sheet recons.
Assist in preparing documentation for SOX related to tasks
Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Participate in the execution of internal controls related to General accounting.
Work closely with cross-functional teams including Procurement, AP, AR, FP &A , and Reporting to gather relevant information.
Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.
Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and recommend improvements.
Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience with accounting and Month End Close process is preferred.
Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Experience in oracle cloud accounting software is a Plus
