Job Description

​As a Client Relationship Manager, you will be key contributors to growing business and managing customers.

You will support the Client Partners and act as business owners for assigned accounts, managing the day-to-day activities and P&L of these accounts. You will proactively identify new and expansion opportunities on accounts and plan for and close the extension of existing agreements. You will work with delivery teams to maximize renewal business, optimizing the resource mix and navigating scope changes to ensure client expectations are met.

You will work towards establishing a positive client experience through delivery excellence.

This role is a highly visible role, providing challenging opportunity and will require high amount of commitment, business acumen, leadership qualities and motivated attitude to perform well.

Role Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary management contact and client liaison and develop ‘Trusted Advisor’ relationships with CxOs and other key stakeholders

  • Responsible for managing the P&L of portfolio, business planning / budgeting

  • Drive account mining / penetration strategies and actively manage pipeline for growth and development of the account / portfolio

  • Negotiate commercial terms of engagement

  • Manage client expectations, provide updates to the senior management, and participate in steering review meetings

  • Identify strategic initiatives that help clients’ business achieve their goals and drive transformational programs

  • Work with the delivery team and third-party vendors to ensure that project risks are minimized and project goals are met

  • Provide thought leadership and innovation in managing strategic customers.

Experience & Skills

  • Experience in account management, domain consulting, business development activities in IT service industry with proven track record

  • Seasoned business development professional with excellent track record in managing, retaining and developing businesses

  • Thorough domain knowledge with awareness / expertise in latest digital innovations in the industry / domain

  • Experience and knowledge in latest digital innovations and experience in selling transformation solutions

  • Experience in an onsite / offshore model

  • Strategic thinking, confident and the ability to plan ahead and stay the course

  • Proven track record of improving business performance and winning deals

  • Experience navigating in a large organization and working in a multi-dimensional matrix
