She Leads: Women at the Forefront of Finance

Murali is the Site Leader at Amazon Finance Operations (FinOps) in Manila. As a Site Lead, he plays a big role in to prevent defects, identify controls, solveproblems and delight Amazon customers for the process supported by his team.

His team supports customers in 16 languages from the Manila location for Amazon across different global markets to raise the bar on customer experience. He is also be responsible for all safety, budgetary, people development and operations objectives for the site, which operates 24/7. 

Murali holds a post graduate degree in Business Administration from Symbiosis University, India. He brings close to 24 years’ experience of which half the experience is with Amazon. Murali has been at Amazon for a long period to embrace all of its Leadership Principle but his favorites are Learn and be Curious and Customer Obsession. He believes that exhibiting these 2 leadership principles at the start of an Amazon career will set the new team members to be successful.

Outside work, Murali enjoys swimming, travelling to new places and spending time with his family that includes a 1-year-old infant, which is where most of his spare time is spent these days.

Joy currently manages Amazon Web Services Operations at Amazon Finance Operations (FinOps) in Manila.

Joy, a pillar of FinOps Manila, was one of the pioneering members of the company when Amazon first established its local financial operations team in 2018. Having previously worked for top brands in the FMCG and oil and gas industries to name a few, she brings with her over two decades of extensive experience in account management and the finance space.

One of Joy's guiding values is "Insist on the Highest Standards" from Amazon's Leadership Principles, which fuels her passion for nurturing and empowering the growth and development of her team members.

Krissy earned her degree from the University of the Philippines, where she also obtained her Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification. With 11 years of industrial experience in process improvement, she has supported industry leaders in aviation, hospitality, and transportation in enhancing their processes for better customer experiences.

Currently, she serves as Amazon's Finance ACES BlackBelt, supporting AP and AR process in Manila. Over the past 2 years, Krissy has successfully delivered several prominent projects, resulting in substantial savings for the company.

Outside of work, she enjoys outdoor activities with her family and volunteers as a Sunday school teacher for young children.

Olivia is a financial analyst at Amazon Finance Operations (FinOps) in Manila. She plays a big role in ensuring timely and seamless payments for Amazon and its partners across different global markets.

Having graduated from the University of Lome, Togo, she brings close to three years’ experience and a knack for different languages to the team. Olivia believes the Amazonian Leadership Principle “Ownership” best empowers her to perform in her role whether dealing with colleagues, customers, or other stakeholders.

Outside of work, Olivia enjoys reading, watching movies, exploring nature, and hanging out with her friends.
