Negotiating for Flexibility in the Workplace

Andrew stands at the forefront of the Ericsson led Networked Society vision and fastest moving technology industry trends: cloud infrastructure, products and services. After spending the past few years evangelizing an industry-wide shift to provide the Cloud and 5G to both Telco and Enterprise segments, he is driving today the transformation to position Ericsson as a leader in the private cloud infrastructure and application space, IOT and Innovation incubation areas. Andrew’s previous roles include Head Consulting and Systems Integration Malaysia, Sri Lanka, in addition to leadership and technologist roles in Motorola, Siemens, Nortel and Marconi. Andrew holds Honours in Electrical Engineering, and a Queen’s Commission from Royal Military College, Duntroon, and is also an active contributor to the education sector, with an Industry Advisory Role with University Technology Petronas, Malaysia. 

Ivy is currently the Customer and Program Excellence Director for Digital Services at Ericsson. Based in Singapore, she oversees the digital transformation initiative with a focus on operational and customer excellence execution for Southeast Asia, Oceania and India.  In addition, she is also the co-chair for Women of Ericsson, the first Ericsson Employee Resource Group in the region.  Prior to Ericsson, Ivy spent more than 16 years in sales and marketing roles across different sectors such as FMCG, Logistics, as well as the Retail and Creative industry, where she built a wide business perspective and strong values on collaboration, diversity and compliance.  Ivy holds a Diploma in Applied Science and Nutrition and a Bachelor of Science in Business and Management majoring in Marketing from the University of Bradford. 

Lakshmi is currently an Account manager at Ericsson, a role she has held for over a year. Based in Gurgaon, she is responsible for the end-to-end management of network services for Bharti Airtel, the largest telecom operator in India.  Prior to joining Ericsson, Lakshmi was a Business Technology Analyst with the Product and Solutions vertical at Deloitte, developing products for several multinational clients across retail, insurance, and healthcare sectors. Having graduated from the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta with a double major in Strategy and Marketing, she also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer science.  

Amita Unni, Prosci Certified Change Management practitioner, with a Masters in Human Resources Management and has been working in the HR/Talent Acquisition for over 16 years; in New York, London and more recently in Singapore. For the last 8 years, Amita has been based in Singapore and within the RPO industry in multiple roles including Executive Search, Operational Excellence and Account management & delivery.  During this time, Amita has provided strategic advisory services to clients in FMCG (GSK, Samsung), Financial Services (Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, MUFG) and Engineering (ASM, BASF).  Amita’s most recent focus has been Organizational Development with a personal passion for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion.  To further strengthen her understanding of OD and how it relates to Talent Acquisition & Talent Management, Amita is pursuing the NTL Europe Organization Development Certification Program with the aim to apply these methodologies in recruitment, operational delivery, people management and talent acquisition strategy design. At Randstad Sourceright, Amita’s role as the Client Services Director is to lead client delivery and client enablement initiatives aimed partnering with clients to achieve talent acquisition/HR and organisational goals.
